I’ve been meaning to post these pictures since the middle of May, but I was SO busy with High School Seniors {Class of 2011} that I just didn’t have much time. So, here’s my baby boy ridin’ a sheep! This was not his first time, but it was my first time to see him. I’m a proud momma of both of my sweet boys, and was really excited because he was SO excited!! He’s getting so big too – he’ll be starting kinder next week {tear}. Here are some of the images just before and during his ride!

Memorial Day weekend was a busy one for me – 2 weddings to shoot! One of them I was the second shooter for a friend of mine from high school, Liana Randel. Newborn Mentoring With Jennifer Cusimano Photography

Last week, I spent one day with Jenn of Jennifer Cusimano Photography, watching and learning as she worked with 3 beautiful newborns – lucky me! In her newborn mentoring workshop she offers one on one mentoring, so you get her undivided attention when needed. She will cover workflow, editing, posing/soothing newborns, lighting, white balance, exposure and even review your portfolio. Oh, and she throws in a lot of tips and tricks that are very useful for running your business, but you’ll have to go see her for all those little secrets!! :)

I really learned so many wonderful things from Jenn, and I feel that one of the biggest things I walked away with was to be more patient with newborns and to get the pose I’m trying to get – not to just settle with a pose.
